The Portuguese association Associação Portuguesa Voz do Autista and José Gusmão, member of the European Parliament and the Disability Intergroup, are organising an international one-day conference in Lisbon on 25th February, featuring autistic speakers from several European countries.

In this way, the event aims to demonstrate not only the need for inclusion of autistic people, but also the added value they bring to the evolution of inclusion at global, regional and domestic levels.
The speakers, divided into two panels by general topic area, are Mayne Benedetto (Portugal), Florian Sanden (Belgium), Imke Heuer (Germany), Joan McDonald (Ireland), Kosjenka Petek (Croatia), Heta Pukki (Finland), Sara Rocha (Portugal), Alistair de Gaetano (Malta), Yo Dunn (UK), and Valeriia Shapovalova (Ukraine). In additions, there may be five-minute lightning talks by other presenters.
